Sahara appoints Construction companies for Sahara City Homes Townships at Nagpur, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad and Gwalior

Sricon Infrastructure, Nithya Associates, Ramky Infrastructure and Era Infra will construct residential blocks

Lucknow, 5 January 2009: Sahara Prime City Limited the real estate company of Sahara India Pariwar has appointed renowned Construction Companies for construction of residential blocks at Sahara City Homes. The projects are the part of Sahara City Homes chain of 217 townships to be developed across India. Each township is spread over 100 to 300 acres. Development of the townships is taking place in phase wise manner and in the first phase 102 cities have been chosen. The construction work of Sahara City Homes in Lucknow, Nagpur, Gwalior, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad and Indore is in full-swing.

Sricon Infrastructure has been appointed for the construction of high rise apartment blocks of Sahara City Homes, Nagpur. The contract includes construction of nine high rise apartment blocks. Under the high rise apartments, structural construction of one ‘Great’ (1 Bedroom unit block), four ‘Crown’ (2 bedroom/2 Bedroom+ Terrace/Penthouse units blocks) and 4 ‘Gorgeous’ (2 Bedroom/2 Bedroom + Study/3 Bedroom/Penthouse units blocks). Kaybee Engineers & Construction Pvt. Ltd, Mall Construction, Rana Construction and Laxmi Construction are also on board for development and construction work of Sahara City Homes Nagpur. Kaybee Engineers & Construction Pvt. Ltd. is involved in the construction work of High Rise block including three Crowns and four Gorgeous blocks, Mall Construction is developing one Crown and three gorgeous High rise blocks, Rana Construction is constructing 56 Independent semi-detached houses and Laxmi Construction is constructing 66 Independent Row Houses and 42 Independent Bungalows.

For the development and construction work of Sahara City Homes Coimbatore and Ahmedabad Township, Sahara Prime City Limited has appointed Nithya Associates Ltd. and Ramky Infrastructure Ltd respectively.

Era Infra Engineering has been selected for the construction of 368 residential blocks at Sahara City Homes, Gwalior township including 208 Apartments and 160 Independent houses. The construction of Independent Houses allotted to Era will have 99 Units of Row Houses, 42 Units of Semi – detached, 19 Units Villas (Bungalow). For apartments Era will construct Multi Story towers including 2 Tower B, 3 Tower C.

All these companies have been appointed on the basis of their past records and high adherence to quality parameters. The company will follow ‘Sahara City Homes’ quality norms developed and implemented by Sahara Quality Laboratory. The norms are developed in compliance with Bureau of Indian Standards (B.I.S) codes and employees multi level quality checks and International process implementations.

Recently, Sahara Prime City Limited has appointed a U.K. based International Management and Construction Consultant Gleeds to provide consultancy and project management for the development of its Sahara City Homes brand of townships in 217 cities of India.

Gleeds will provide support to Sahara City Homes in the process of construction Supply Chain, Quality, Health and Safety management. Gleeds has over 120 years of experience in the building and construction industry and is operating its business in 13 countries across 5 continents. Gleeds was amongst the many construction management companies of international repute which were reviewed by Sahara Prime City Limited. The company was selected on the basis of their experience, quality of work and capability of handling mega projects.

Sahara City Homes townships, intends to provide a comprehensive solution with quality lifestyle to its residents. The product mix consists of a combination of 1 to 5 bedrooms in the category of High Rise Apartments, Mid Rise Apartments, Independent Row Houses and Independent Bungalows.
